NOIDA: A 15-year-old lady, who had gone losing for three several weeks and was purportedly marketed off for 'marriage' for Rs 60,000 has been discovered by police. However, Noida police has kept the lady in the Mahila Police Place for five times despite the Teenager Rights Act barring detention of kids in a police station instantaneously. The juvenile Act needs all such situations to be taken to the observe of the Kid Well being Comission (CWC) within 24 time, but even this hasn't been done by police.
The female's mom said that she ran away from house after atrocities by her stepfather, a weaver in Industry 8 Noida. She then went to Ghaziabad train station where she met a lady who took proper proper her for several times. "This lady assured my girl to get wedded and marketed her to a man in Higher Noida for Rs 60,000," claimed the female's mom. Police, however, declare that they have been incapable to get any evidence to determine accusations of the lady being marketed.
Cops said that both the lady who purportedly marketed off the lady and the man who 'married' her stay near Dadri train traversing. The lady was retrieved by the police on Nov 9 from the person's house and caught him. The lady was then taken to the Industry 20 police station where a losing situation about her was authorized, following which she was taken to the Mahila Police Place. Mature law enforcement have declined 'detaining' her in the police station.
Police said they were incapable to finish the needed procedures according to the juvenile Act due to the spate of vacations around Diwali. "We sent the lady for healthcare examine up on Nov 9. She will be provided before the CWC on Friday," said Rita Yadav, SHO, Industry 20 police station.
