London: Expectant mothers beware! Mobile phone rays visibility during maternity effects foetal mind development and may cause adhd, scientists say.
Yale School of Medication specialist, Dr Hugh Taylor co-authored the newest research to sensor / probe the effect of cellphone visibility on child birth.
"We had expecting rats in crates and we just simply put a cellphone on top of the crate. In 50 percent the rats, the cellphone was effective and in 50 percent of the ... crates the cellphone was turned off so it wasn't transferring a indication at all," Taylor said.
Researchers permitted the rats to give birth and patiently waited until kids were youngsters before behaviors were examined, the 'Daily Mail' revealed.
"The rats revealed to mobile mobile phones were more effective. Their memory was a little bit reduced ... these rats were generally jumping off the surfaces and didn't have a care on the globe," Taylor said.
The studies have shown there is a "biological basis" to recommend cellphone visibility can effect child birth, said Taylor.
Patients should be careful with devices and suggests expecting females hold mobile phones away from their body, he said.
According to recent numbers released by the UN telecommunications organization, the globe now has almost as many cellphone subscribers as population, the review said.
The World Health Organisation's melanoma arm, this year, said mobile mobile phones could cause melanoma and called for more research, it said.
